That's a phrase we are often asked here at Quietech, so I thought we better give a solid update.
When Quietech opened its first storefront in 2014, we started offering group classes. Classes remained a very popular service offering for us for years. When COVID started, we had to shutter our classroom. After polling our clients and being told quite clearly that online classes were desired, we offered an array of online classes via Zoom. These classes attracted hardly any interest so we stopped for 2020. We tried again a year into the pandemic, and again were met with no attendees, so we eventually discontinued and decided to wait until we could offer in-person classes again.
Through this whole time, we've been regularly asked when classes would return. In December of 2022, we sent out a poll to our entire clientele, asking for feedback about our services, including classes. We asked detailed questions about what type of classes people would like to see, what time of day and days of the week people wanted, and even if people wanted in-person or online classes. We received a tremendous amount of feedback telling us that in-person weekday daytime classes were very much wanted again! We were so excited to bring classes back for you all.
So in in February 2023 newsletter, we presented a brand new schedule of in-person class offerings. And then... *crickets*. Again, no one signed up for the classes!
With this history in mind, Quietech has permanently discontinued hosting group classes, but if you want to host us, we're there! :-)
