That’s a question we’re asked often at Quietech, so we wanted to share a clear update.
When Quietech opened its first storefront in 2014, we offered regular in-person group classes, and they were a very popular part of what we did. When COVID arrived, we had to close our classroom and shift to online options. We offered a variety of Zoom classes during that time, but there was very little interest, so we paused them until in-person classes could return.
In 2022, we sent a survey to our clients asking for feedback about services, including classes. We received a tremendous amount of feedback saying that weekday daytime, in-person classes were strongly desired. Based on that input, we created a brand new schedule of in-person classes and announced them in our February 2023 newsletter.
Unfortunately, despite the interest expressed in surveys, the classes did not receive enough registrations to run.
Because of this, Quietech has decided to permanently discontinue hosting our own group classes.
However, we are always happy to come speak to groups in the community. If your organization, club, or community group would like to host a technology talk or Q&A session, we’d love to join you.
Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to arrange something!
